Age Reps/Managers

Age representatives

Age Representatives are essential for all divisions maintaining a House program. The Age Representative serves as a liaison to the Board and is the central point of communication for the parents in their division. Other responsibilities include:

  • Organize a monthly schedule of practices and games in collaboration with coaches and update divisions bulletin board section as necessary.
  • Facilitate Communication between Coaches and Parents by scheduling meetings or sending information by email as necessary.
  • Organize team jersey distribution and return
  • Organize division picture night and year-end celebration.
  • Organize the House Tournament (U8 level).

Managers

Team Managers are needed for every House, WAHL, and Travel team. The Team Manager serves as a liaison between the team and the Board, and the parents and the coaches. Other general responsibilities include:

  • Assist in Communicating monthly practice and game schedules.
  • Assist in team jersey distribution and return.
  • Assist in organizing division picture night and year-end celebration

House Team Managers

  • Create a roster for each House division team.
  • Assist in organizing House division Tournaments (U8 division) (recruiting volunteers for scoreboard, score sheet, announcer, penalty boxes).
  • Assist in organizing House division games (recruiting volunteers for scoreboard, score sheet, announcer, penalty boxes).

WAHL Team Managers

  • Transport and retain the team’s credentials book to each WAHL game.
  • Check credentials of visiting WAHL teams for games hosted.
  • Communicate WAHL schedule to the team’s families, as well as other important dates.
  • Arrange hotel block accommodations for coaches and players’ families for away WAHL games.
  • Recruit parent volunteers for one penalty box for home and away games.
  • Educate team families on Pointstreak and scorekeeping.

Travel Tournament Team Managers

  • Transport and retain the Team’s credentials book to each Tournament.
  • Organize the Travel Tournament hosted by your Team.
  • Discuss Tournaments the team will attend with Coaches and present to families at a Team meeting for selection.
  • Apply for selected Tournaments and communicate Travel tournament schedule to the Team’s families, as well as other important dates.
  • Arrange hotel block accommodations for Coaches and Players’ families for away tournaments.
  • Recruit parent volunteers for one penalty box for home and away Tournament games.
  • Educate Team families on Pointstreak and scorekeeping.
