Our efforts with Community Outreach give our players and their families an opportunity to give back to their community whose generosity and support allow our hockey program to grow and thrive. We are thankful to live and play in such wonderful city, and so these are some of the ways we show our community spirit.
CAHC members participate in the Trojan Trek held annually in June to help with the fundraiser organized by Kelly Walsh High School to raise money and awareness for cancer.
One of our most enjoyable events is “Hockey helps the Hungry” which is an annual fundraiser for the Salvation Army. We invite the community to come and watch two scrimmages: the first involving our youngest players in the Under 8 division play against some of Casper’s finest firemen; secondly, a friendly “Natrona County High School vs. Kelly Walsh High School” game involving our older players playing against each other wearing their school colours. It is always a well-attended and entertaining event.
