Coaching Application and USAH Requirements
Do you love the sport of hockey and have skills to share?
CAHC is always looking for volunteers to help coach our developing players. If you are interested in coaching, please complete each of the following requirements on this page:
- Complete CAHC Coaching Application
- Register with USA Hockey (USAH)
- Complete USAH Background Screen
- Complete USAH SafeSport Training
- Complete USAH Age Specific Module
- Complete Coaching Certification Clinic
All but the the Coaching Certification Clinic needs to be done prior to a coach taking the ice!

Register with USAH
Print out a copy of the membership receipt with the bar code to submit for reimbursement!
Complete USAH Background Screen
Print out a copy of the receipt to submit for reimbursement!
Complete USAH SafeSport Training
Print out a copy of the certificate for proof of completion to submit!
Complete USAH Age Specific Module
Print out a copy of the certificate for proof of completion and the receipt to submit for reimbursement!
Complete USAH Coaching Clinic
Print out a copy of the certificate for proof of completion and a copy of the receipt to submit!
Coaches, submit those receipts!
For any of these coaching requirements, please submit your certification related expenses prior to December 31st of the current season so we can reimburse you (non-parent coaches) or credit your family account (parent coaches). You can submit those by email to clubcasperhockey@gmail.com or drop them in the CAHC box at the rink.
Student Coaches
CAHC welcomes players between the ages of 13 and 17 to come and help out as a student coach. USAH has several requirements that must be met in order for a player to act as a Student coach. Check those out at the link below!
CAHC hosts a training session that a player has to attend prior to participating as a student coach. Watch for details regarding that training at the beginning of the season.
